Muweme Mushrooms is based in Lusaka district which is the capital city of Zambia. The district has a total population of approximately 3 079 964 (2022 census) people.

The mushroom business is developing and growing in Zambia, however very few people have ventured into this type of farming. One of the major mushroom producers located in Lusaka city known as JIHAI Investments including other mushroom farmers will serve as competition for my business, however, due to the massive population of the district and the few farmers involved in mushroom farming, there is still a huge untapped potential in the mushroom industry which provides room for the business to succeed.

The product will be sold to individual customers, restaurants, retailers, traders, and supermarkets. The product will be sold to clients both by purchasing from the production site to avoid transportation costs and through delivery by the entrepreneur to clients.
